According to the IMI report by Christian Henrik Nesheim, some countries hosted a larger number of International Residency Citizenship by Investment (RCBI)-specialist companies within them.
First of all, what is the International RCBI-specialist company?
1. The company should have a physical office outside of its home market and provides services for its clients in various RCBI programs to be consider as international.
2. Specialist company is a corporation with primary business in the field of Investment Migration (IM).
3. The company should have at least 10 employees.
Based on information provided by IM firms, the number of International RCBI-specialist companies increased by 10 compared to last year; as a result, currently there are total of 62 companies that fit the mentioned criteria.
Where do these companies are located?
The majority of investment migration hubs are located between Muscat to Manchester which forms a belt known as the “golden visa belt”. Among them, Dubai hosted the largest number of investment migration hubs with 35 offices, which means more than 50% of these corporations have at least a base in Dubai.
Compared to last year, some countries witnessed a reduction in this market like Russia (from 9 to 6), Malaysia (7 to 6), Egypt (9 to 8), and Cyprus (16 to 15).
On the other hand, several countries experienced a growth in the number of international RCBI specialist centers:
the most significant rise occurred in Turkey (Istanbul), growing from 8 to 18.
Next in the line is Portugal growing from 9 to 19, then Hong Kong and the UK each increasing by 6.
Other countries are Vietnam, India, Canada, Nigeria, and Malta with 5, 4, 3, 3, and 3 more IM firm offices, respectively.
As mentioned before, the UAE (mainly Dubai) ranked first in the list of top markets for IM firms due to its friendly policy of international company registration and strategic location.
In the second place, UK and Canada are tied with each 23 RCBI-Specialist offices as London is Europe’s foremost IM hub and Canada is the origin of IM destinations.
