COUNTRY AND PROGRAM OVERVIEW CANADA

Canada, the world’s second-largest country, extending from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean is one of the safest, wealthiest, and best countries in the world to live in with a leading trade market, high-quality lifestyle, high individual freedom, multicultural communities, and political stability, famous for its pristine nature, numerous lakes, top-ranked universities, and the affordable healthcare system.

Canada is a desirable destination for students around the world in search of high-quality education and Canadian life-style. After obtaining acceptance from a designated learning institution (DLI) or a school, international students need to obtain a study permit if their course is more than six months. Study permit is a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) that allows applicants to study for a specific period of time and gives permission to their spouse to work in Canada.

Graduated students have the right to work up to 3 years under the Post-Graduate Work Permit Program (PGWP) and gain international work experience, however, they can apply for Permanent Residency (PR) immediately after their study via certain Express Entry categories.
