The first step is to obtain Nulla Osta (Pre-Approval) from the Italian Investor Visa Committee. This involves preparing and submitting required documents online, including proof of lawful funds, a criminal record certificate, and the commitment letter for investment (In case of the managed fund, this can be non-binding).
The processing begins after payment of the initial professional fees, and the applicant is guided by the MICS legal and processing teams to ensure compliance with government requirements. At this stage, government processing fees, due diligence fees, and the second installment of the professional fees will also be due.
