Timeline

After retaining MICS and paying its initial professional fee, the first step is to sign the property reservation agreement. The applicant can choose the property in person or via a video call.

For the online acquisition the applicant needs to sign the power of attorney (POA) in the Spanish embassy in his country of residence. MICS will provide required documents to complete this procedure at the pertinent Spanish embassy.

Then, the MICS processing team will provide the applicant with a precise list of civil and financial documents required by the government.

The MICS legal team will review the documents and the receipt of property payment and submit the complete application to the Spanish government’s Ministry of Economy. At this stage, MICS’ second professional fee will be due.

Each application is vetted by the government through a thorough due diligence check, during which time submitted information is examined and verified. After the approval the government will issue the residence permit.

The client should travel to Spain within 1 month with his/her dependent family members for in-person biometric submission in one of the police stations. Then you will receive your residence cards, which are valid for 2 years.

This is when the payment of MICS professional fee balance will be due.
