After retaining MICS and paying its initial professional fee, the first step is to choose the investment type and sign the property reservation agreement. The applicant must pay the 10% deposit of the investment property or selected financial option. The applicant can visit Panama in person or complete the process remotely via a video call.
For remote acquisition, the applicant needs to provide a notarized and apostilled power of attorney (POA) at the Panamanian consulate in their country of residence. MICS will guide the applicant through gathering all necessary documents and submitting them to the relevant authorities.
